i just want to ask.. i find the final episode confusing... would somebody explain it to me? also... it's kind of different to the movie version... well, not too different... but there are a lot of things that have been modified in the anime... ehehe...

the tomoyo another world?

If so it's just a parallel universe where Tomoyo is there instead of Nagisa which I prefer.. it's only one episode.. no need to think too much.

uh no... i was talking about the the last episode of the After World...

before the "recap"... I didn't quite get why Tomoya returned to the time when Nagisa was giving birth to Ushio and it was a different ending... and I'm kind of confused as to what is the connection of that with the story of the lonely girl... And i'm not sure... but it was never mentioned in the Anime why Tomoya was familiar with the story that Nagisa "wrote"... I was thinking the reason was shown in the Old Movie Version...

Clannad is Irish in origin; its essential translation is "clan/family" from what I remember. For those out there that are still confused after knowing that... let me just say that you probably missed the essential element of the series around which everything hinges and builds upon XD

I've never really wondered about the title but thanks for one who asked and for the answer Gaff. Now I understand it more.

This season of Clannad is funnier and less drama. I like Fuuko's story and I enjoyed the episodes where Tomoya plays a trick on her. Sunohara and Tomoya duo are the best. They crack me up always. Their friendship is unusual.

Thanks Yohan since I've been trying to figure out what Clannad signified, but I just didn't have the chance; however, I did had a hunch that it had to do with family.

Tomoya's banter with Akio always makes me laugh as well. Fuuko is always entertaining too. I remember my shock when I discovered she's actually a potential romance in the original VN.
