I'm gonna lay low for a while until my Comp is finally reformatted and Sony Vegas is fully installed.

Besides...I'm still planning to watch a currently-running anime...
got nothing in mind...

any to recommend though?

Hmmmm....currently airing anime is hard due to 1-3 episodes so far except the big series like Naruto Shippuden. Does Summer anime alright?

anything that is airing now, just check MAL.

just choose the one which looks nicest cause the winner is based on how it looks.

Well there certainly are more than that. In fact, there are the long running series, spill-overs from last season, long running OVAs, and the newest series.

For example (just to list two of each):

Long-Running Series:

Bleach
One Piece

Spill Overs from Last Season:

K-ON!!
Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

Uncompleted / Releasing OVAs:

Shakugan no Shana S
Hellsing Ultimate

New to the Current Season:

Seitokai Yakuindomo
Highschool of the Dead

There really are tons of options out there to choose from (basically anything that hasn't aired its final episode yet but has already started is in the running). If you are uncertain about something in particular, you can post here and we'll let you know. And keep in mind Denny, if you want to do something for a brand new current show with very few episodes available right now, submissions will be open for a little under a month (until the 7th). So more's coming if you want that.

I'd go with something like Kaichou wa Maid-sama myself.

Right now the contest submissions page is still pretty open, so the chance of winning is pretty high atm.

The music can be anything you want I assume, it just has to be an ongoing anime.

The prize isn't money just a voucher so I don't think you'll be able to convert it for donation.

same here laying low

can't do much atm got planning and stuff so i dont plan to enter sadly

but ill encourage others to join
